Marisela Rumberg is CARU Language Services Owner and Founder. A certified Spanish-English interpreter and translator who specializes in simultaneous interpretation, Marisela was born and raised in Mexico and holds a degree in International Economics. With vast experience in the areas of education, business, environment/conservation, tourism and art, she is also a language coach and interpreter trainer.
Interesting fact: Marisela is also an international award-winning Fiber Artist in residence at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA.

Maria was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Technological Institute of Monterrey (ITESM).

In 2017 she began working for Fairfax County Public Schools as multilingual interpreter.

She also holds a degree in Food and Beverage Operations and Hotel Management from Institut Hôtelier «CÉSAR RITZ», Switzerland. Yellia is also a Mandarin Chinese Interpreter for Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) since 2018. Prior, she taught Mandarin Chinese at Adult & Community Education (ACE) and Global Plus in FCPS. She has worked for the Catholic Charities of Fairfield County (Connecticut) as a translator for Chinese adoptions, and has taught Chinese cuisine and Mandarin Chinese at Fairfield Continuing Education in Connecticut. Yellia's passion is teaching and everything in Mandarin Chinese!
